The Great Gatsby

Last night me and my wife watched The Great Gatsby on PPV.

After the moving was over we both looked at each other and said "huh?!"

I am failing to see what was so great about that movie. Why was it so popular?!

Were we just missing something?

At least it ended like other Leo DiCaprio movies that I have seen...

Much like his other popular movies, Leo ends up dead in the water.

Look at the irony... the main charcater does everything in his power to get the girl thinking he's not good enough, but in the end, she was the one not good enough for him.

I saw it in the theater, and I think it would probably lose a lot going to a smaller screen. It seemed more to dazzle than to tell a story.

There is just something so wrong with Hello Dolly played to beatboxing. Not much great in Gatsby IMO.

I had to do a book report on the Great Gatsby back in 86,naturally I watched the original movie instead of reading the book.Scored a 92-94,anyway you couldn't pay me to watch a remake.
