The Guide and Discovery Channel

Don't know who the blame rests for this problem. But the guide data and what is being shown on Discovery right now is totally wrong.

I was expecting to be watching a new episode of "Mythbusters" tonight, only to find that it had been replaced by the 2-hour pirates special.

The guide is not the only one reporting that Mythbusters was new tonight, the website, myepisodes.com is also reporting that the episode is supposed to be new.

Who provides the guide data for Dish? And is Direct seeing the same thing tonight?

im confused about this too
so will the new episode be on later??? or will there not be a new episode this week.

I was confused about the whole thing too...So I searched the discovery channel message boards and it says these new episodes have been pushed back...It says the Mythbusters episode has been rescheduled for the 27th? No word on Man vs. Wild...It doesn't give a reason why they were delayed?

It's not Dish Network or even the guide data providers fault, Discovery rescheduled the episode (and next weeks) at the last minute.
