Is the Pentagon channel Free to all subs? Wanted to know before I pull out my extra dish to aim at 148 and find out it's not.

As long as you have A subscription to Dish, regardless of level, you get the PI's on 61.5/148. I have just locals and can get Pentagon on 61.5

I hooked up the old 5000 a week ago to 61.5 and 148 and got it on there too (and that receiver hasnt been subscribed to since April 04)

These are the PI channels on the wings
-Pentagon
-Classic Arts
-Good Samaritan
-PEAC

The PI's on 119 & 110 need at least AT60

I have the channel on my retail account and only have dish 500 here

Iceberg is correct about the PI's on the wing birds - I get ALL of them & all I have is locals/distants/SS.
HOWEVER, you DO also get Free Speech TV, which is on 110.

I have SBC/DISH Americas Top 180 with HD and Locals using (2) 811 with the Dish 500 ProDish.
But I do not get The Pentagon Channel should I be getting this chanal with this setup?

no becase you dont have the 2nd dish pointing at the wing slots

bbguy, since you have HD, try calling Dish and ask them about CBS HD. It's only on the wings, and if they decide you should be getting it, they may also decide to give you the 2nd dish for free.

If you get an FTA setup, you'll actually get the IRS channel and the Pentagon Channel. No EPA channel, but there is a Veterans Affairs channel (va.gov), almost as exciting.

The Pentagon Channel is on 9405 from the 61.5° and 148° satellites.
