The R15 is Released!

It's officially November 7th and the DirecTV Plus unit is now released. Anyone pick one up yet, as of November 7th?

it's available to order on directv.com. I'm not sure when the install dates are but they changed to website to reflect that you are now getting the new dvr. Oh and it's $150 before a $100 rebate. So it's $50 more than the tivo was.

No, it's the same price as the Tivo was, since D* hds started charging for the installation of Tivo DVRs before the big switch.

I'm fairly handy so I was wondering if I ordered mine (R-15) from Robert at VE could I install it myself. I have a regular DTV receiver in the bedroom that I'd like to change out to an R-15 or an older Sony Sat-t60. Thanks.
