This is an arts film. I enjoyed the movie, it was funny in parts sad in others. Solid performances by all the actors.
It was based on a true story of a man in an iron lung, only able to move his head, but had full feeling everywhere. He decides he wants to have sex before he dies and hires a specialist (played by Helen Hunt) to see if it is possible. Be warned there is full frontal nudity by Helen Hunt. William H Macy plays the priest that Mark confesses to and confides in - being a priest giving sexual advice puts him in a tough situation (but humorous).
This movie is not designed for broad appeal, but for its target audience it is worth seeing.
