I've lost track of where I found it, but there are some pix where a guy ran a pole up from his 2nd (?) floor balcony, to look back across his roof.
His apartment faced north, but he was determined to get signal !

The terrain is hilly here, and there is more than one BUD up above the roof line mounted to a pole running all the way to the ground. Kind of makes removal a long term "when I get around to it" proposition.
