Tiger Woods to have surgery (Really- this isn't a joke)

If he's going to be out for a month, it really doesn't affect him much.
He normally only plays the courses he wants to anyways.

It will hurt the ratings more than anything.

The good thing is that it appears Woods won't miss any Major's.

According to the link, Woods hopes to return at the Memorial on May 29.

The U.S. Open is the next Major and begins June 12 at Torrey Pines, where Woods has won six times in the Buick Invitational.

I've had the pleasure to visit the Jack Nicholas' designed Murfield Village Golf Club and watch 2 Memorial Tournaments there. The neighborhood it resides in the city of Dublin, OH and the course is absolutely breathtaking. This would be a good tourney to make his comeback.

Sportscenter said this 3 days ago and I didn't really think anything of it just for the same reason Jimbo said.
