Time setting on sonicview1000 pvr

I set my time on my sonicview 1000 pvr so i can record some programs but the time drifts on me. I will set the time for 11am but by 1pm my clock will say its only 12:55. And if you adjust the time, it will still be off later on. Does anyone know how to fix this. Dennis
