Time Warner Growing Again.

TW can't be any worse than Insight in my area. I have always wanted to try their service but have not lived in the part of town that was serviced by them. I guess if this goes through, I will get my chance to see how their service really is.

I agree with tw having good service. But be aware when you come off a promo. I got my bill today and it went up almost $40.00 . the satellite services aren't much cheaper. No competition in area.

Well if you want the Sabres Games or the Yankees, basically your only other choice is Directv. FIOS has a very small footprint in the area and Dish walked away from New York State Sports completely a few months back.

Don't feel bad, mine went from $115 to $170. They will either put me back on a promo or downgrade me to roadrunner only while I get Directv.

And FiOS will only get you the Sabres in SD.

Called TW today. regular rep. Couldn't do anything but had me talk to a pricing specialist who lowered my bill to 115.00. 1'am happy. that is what i would have saved going to direct tv. But she said i would have to do this all over again next year.

I called this morning, and ended up with a pricing specialist whom brought my bill down to $124 with the same programing I had prior (it was scheduled to go to $170 September 1); upgraded my roadrunner to turbo, and gave me whole house dvr (with free install) with a two year price guarantee on Time Warner's part but not mine. Of course I spoke to them about pricing for just plain roadrunner and basic broadcast service first, because if they couldn't do something with my bill, I was gonna pick up directv. I am happy with programing and the pricing they gave me now also.
