Has anybody gotten this to work with there Dtivo dvr. I'm very interested in using this feature.

To the best of my knowledge this feature is not supported in DirecTV Tivo units.

I believe you need series 7 software for the TIVO to work with TIVO to go.

Yep, you need standalone Tivos. I have 3 networked together and to my PC. I have a Tivo HD DVR that I can't network to the others.
