Tonight & The Rest of the Echostar X Moving Schedule

Phoenix?

Your launch date list has no mention of phoenix? It thought it was on the list for the next wave of uploads. Any Info on Phx?

Phoenix is on 119 and probably will sty there for the time being. The locals that are moving right now are on
-105 (Superdish)
-121 (Superdish)
-110 locations that are on Echo 8 spotbeams that are going to be turned off (Echo 10 will take those spot)
-channels on 61.5, 148 or 129 to comply with the FCC "one dish" rule

Sorry to be a Newbie and ignorant, but if your city is listed on the spreadsheet to move does this have any affect on how soon the MPEG4 locals will be available.

My fault, I looked at the list and saw some of the channels were in the 9000's and thought this was including HD Locals. Hopefully PHX HD will be soon though.

it has nothing to do with HD locals (yet)

Actually, several cities (Houston, OKC, SF, ...) are moving off 119 and onto E10, according to the spreadsheet. Why, I don't know, unless it's to clear off some room for HD LIL on 119 for those spots.

Actually, if you look at the spreadsheet again on April 17th, it mentions ABC HD, CBS HD, FOX HD, and NBC HD will be uplinked on TP 25 spot 22 for San Antonio

Wow, since San Antonios HD are going live on EchoX, this now brings up a question that I hope is stupid. Is it safe to assume that if we get stations from another DMA(San Antonio in my case) we will also get the HD versions. This is important to me because we get Austins HD perfect(they're only 70mi from here), but SA is on the other side of town so we can't get their digital stations OTA.
Patrick

If you're getting San Antonio because the address you have listed with dish resides in the san antonio DMA and if where you're living is also inside the beam that the san antonio HD locals will be sent to, then yes

All Louisville KY channels are on spotbeam 1 except channel 21. When I go Menu611, the signal strength shows 20% low, but if I select another transponder and return to 1, the strength jumps 20%. Another 622 bug/feature!

Hi,

I looked at the chart and don't see Davenport, IA/Rock Island, IL DMA listed. I know it was on another post that they were moving them from 105 to 110 in the second phase. Will just have to wait and see or did they change there minds?

Thanks,

BigJohn2

Who's "brilliant" idea was it to put the Harrisburg locals on Spotbeam 4?!?
York County is on the southernmost portion of that beam. I'm now getting a 56 on TP4 where my Harrisburg locals are. Franklin County must be really aweful as they are further out from the spotbeam core than I am.
