Toshiba 57HM167 question...

I have a Magnavox up-converting dvd player hooked to this and everytime I go to watch a dvd, I have to turn the volume WAY up. I usually watch tv from 25 to 30 volume wise. When I put a dvd in I have to go up to 40 - 50. Not sure if this is a setting in the dvd player or the tv or neither. I use an hdmi cable by the way. Anyone else experiance this?

On my 62hm196 I do notice some volume issues when watching something in dolby digital. When the TV says it's recieveing PCM the volume is louder.
