Transferring recorded programs from 942 to 622?

Is it possible to transfer DVR recorded programs from a 942 to a 622, or will I lose everything if I upgrade?

I was wondering about the possiblity of transferring recordings from the 942 to the 622 myself.

I think this would be a great service that Dish could provide at time of service call/swap out. They could allow transfers with a passcode they give to licensed techs on a per session basis so you could keep your recordings when doing an upgrade. Seems like that would be possible, right?
