I've been watching this on HBO Canada lately and it's not half bad. At first I was a little Leary of Chris Vance taking over the role of Frank Martin. Its a little cheesy at times(just like the movies were) but all in all the show has very nice scenery nice cars and of course nice women and some pretty good action. I've been keeping an eye out for it on HBO US but so far I haven't seen a listing for it.

It will air on Cinemax in June in the US.

It's really not bad, I finished watching the first season a few days ago and enjoyed it. You summed it up pretty good. It's already aired in Germany, France and other parts of Europe. I got the unedited German Bluray release from a friend who saw it while over there and thought it would be worth watching.
