Traxis Channel List Problem with ALI Editor

I had trouble updating the FW on the Traxis 3500 using my laptop. I gave up and tried using
a deskktop PC and it worked. I don't know what the issue is , but I just use the desktop PC for all firmware updates.

You might have to change the COM port speed/ buffer size or other settings to get it to work on the other computer.
Check the settings in the Device Manager under the COM Port.

That's what is so strange. The FW update went smooth as silk on the laptop.

The settings are exactly the same on the com port on my laptop and desktop.

Fred I updated the software in that Traxis I sold you, and it took at LEAST 25 minutes with a laptop using a USB-serial adpator. I think its a Traxis issue myself.

I'm glad y'all got it going, I wish I liked the Traxis, I just didn't.

I downgraded and updated it at least 3 times per instructions from DMSI using the laptop serial port with no issues. None of the times took more than 5 minutes.

Just couldn't get the channel list to come down.
