Nice finds. Sadly, my tropo DX days are over as I live in New Mexico now.

But you can still DX on VHF low band for E-skip and rare F2 going from 30 to 108 MHz for analog or digital TV, WBFM with or no HD IBOC radio broadcasting.

You might get Central American and Caribbean analog NTSC TV signals skipping in.

Their is one very rare skipping it's called TEP "Trans Equatorial Propagation" you might get exotic South American station, but there's a catch it can get very distorted signals due to nature of TEP multiphase patterns.

Brazil, has just recently expanded the FM radio broadcasts to 76 up to 108 MHz with standard WBFM and has yet to decide which digital radio formats, HD IBOC or DRM "Digital Radio Mondial"

Have no idea what are they going to do with 54 to 76 MHz either still use digital video or convert to two way radio use for commercial or give it to ham radio community for expanded 6 meter ham band in Brazil.
