I have a 1000.1 dish and am having trouble getting all 3 to stay in.
I only get around 40 on 129, 75 on 199, and 50" on 110.
They don't seem to like to install 1000.1 in this area and want to install a seperate sat for 129. If I do this, do I need to add a switch or what to link back into the 1000.1? thanks, RDT in Northern Idaho

It really sounds like your dish is not well positioned and therefore not getting good steady signals. I had a 1000.1 until one of the LNBs died and it was replaced with a 1000.2, but I never had any problems with the 1000.1 receiving all 3 satellites otherwise. I would check the skew and elevation carefully.

are you having signal troubles, or are you just saying your signal levels seem to low on the point dish screen?
those numbers dont sound awful to me.
the 1000.2 will give you better signal (assuming you have a 1000, ive never heard of a 1000.1).
A seperate dish for 129 will also improve the signal...if you have a dpp twin on your dish then yes, you can just run from the 129 dish into the input.
