Trouble With Pansat 2500A Receiver

It started to freeze up. I could cut it off and then back on and it would work for a while. When I tried to delete some channels it locked up. I cut it off and back on and it will not go to menu. The screen just flashes on and off and then goes dark. I did not have any trouble until I went to Pansat web site and tried to update the bin file. The receiver seems to meet all the test for an original and not a clone.
The down load was about two weeks ago. I went back to the web site and downloaded again, but it did not make any difference.
Will be gone most of the day and will check back later.

If it hasn't worked right since you flashed the firmware, sounds like the file was corrupted during the download, or the flash process. Try to d/l the file again, unzip the file if its compressed, and load it again. If it worked for awhile then messed up maybe your receiver's memory is full?

try and delete some transponders...maybe its transponder overload

someone with a 3500 had the same issue. I have a 1500 and have seen it happen too

I was deleting when it started to lock up. The other freeze ups were just temporary. I will try to download a fresh zip and try again thanks.
