Trying to get Dish to send a new smart card

be aware that a card swap will lose those extra locals. I had a 3100 (Expressvu version of 301) that had extra channels on it that it seemed couldn't be removed, but the card swapout "fixed" that.

well, changed the card out and called it in...took like 10 minutes tops and my channels were back

Well, most of them

The channels that all subscribed receievrs get were back (previews, knockoff shopping, etc)
WPIX was back

then 5 minutes later my locals came back
3,6,8,10,11 and 21...Duluth locals

but the rest are gone

so Derwin was right...the yellow card "fixed" the issue...oh well, free year of locals and 2 distants..can't complain
