Tuner Count and SWM

hey guys just wondering if recievers run from the legacy ports count towards the 8 tuner count on an SWM8 install? pretty sure they don't, just wanted some clarification.

But DO understand that if you hook up an HD receiver to them, it will NOT receive the Ka (HD) signals on those ports...
