TV Antenna/ Cable In Port

Has anyone had success using this port? Let's say you have a 522 for Sat programming, but kept your cable service as well. You have two sat feed lines, and a seperate cable for the cable service. You hook the cable line to the TV Antenna/ Cable In port on the rec. If you used RCA cables for your input to the TV. How do you switch between Sat and cable? How would this work if instead of the cable service, it was the mirrored signal from a 510? Thanks.

Works fine. Power down TV1 and the antenna-in gets passed through. That's all it does. No more, no less, and not on TV2.

Well On mine using the svideo i get that damn screen saver........ ?

And Yes i have the regular cable hooked up to the right place.......... and it doesnt come through when powered down.

It only passes through using the tv out coax on tv 1. you can't output it on any other outputs or record it.

The Cable/Ant in port only will pass thru to the RF TV1 out.
