TV Guide Channel Move

Effective April 18, the content on TV Guide channel (channel 102) will be simulcast on channel 117. The simulcast will end on May 9, when channel 102 will be taken down.

On May 2, a slate will be placed on channel 102 directing customers to channel 117 for TV Guide content.

Well... it doesn't HAVE to be a good reason. But I wonder if they are taking 102 back for the same reason they moved USA Network from 102 to 105 many moons ago. You know, the reason they never followed through on? To have all sorts of barkers at the 100-104 range we could all lock out and ignore.
