tv guide on screen?

From looking at TV Guide On Screen > Support>DISH Network it appears that I can use my Dish VIP622 to control my TV Guide on screen capable panasonic dvr recorder DMR-EH75V.

I cannot get it to record to the panasonic. I am recording to type "Ext" as the guide shows.

Does the VIP622 NOT transmit the TV Guide info anymore?

Yes, I assume I would not get the "EXT" option if I had not. The option is enabled also.

is the recorder close to your dish receiver? The IR ports on the front need to be close so it can blast the signal to the front of your recorder

hey gotadish, did you ever get the Tv guide onscreen to wor? I have the same DVD player and for the life of me i cant get it to work with dishnetwork. panasonic says the only way to record with dishnetwork is to watch the show at the same time yet TV Guide says the model is compatible
