tv's and controller's

I swapping batteries in remotes and pressed some buttons. Now one controller works on both tv's and tv1 is now tv2. Any idea what I did and how to fix this? Reomote is 21.0 IR/UHF PRO.

push the system info button on the front right side of the receiver.take the 1 remote and hit the record key.

Lola .... what DISH receiver do you have? there's a model number to it.. if not on the front, its on the back or bottom. Additionally you should have some controls, even if hidden by an access panel (ie press to open or pull to open cover).. next when it was said take the 1 remote .. that's what he meant ... the remote with the number 1 at the bottom. If yours doesn't have a number there, or if you'd modified them (the number pulls out and can be switched around) then you're even worse off ... the receiver button press and the remote button press are attempts to tell the receiver you want to reset/relink remotes to the box.

okay sry. The model is: ViP722K. We tried both remote with what he said and nothing happened.

Take the remote that is not working and stand in front of the receiver box. Press and hold down the "0" for 10 seconds and it will take you to system wizard. Follow the directions on the TV, try not to move when it is connecting. If you are still having an issue, send me a PM and I will call you and walk through readdressing the remote to your receiver! Just let me know.
