How does adding a DPP33 create five or six bands from four? It seems like there could easily be a situation where all six tuners might need more than two double-stacked cables from the LNB can deliver.

It's really very simple.

2 wires from the dish to the DPP33 (or in the case of the OP 1 wire from each dish). 3 wires from the DPP33 to the duo node. Job done. End of story.

After poking around for more info I see there's a slightly larger 'Dish' dish called the 1000.5 ?

Are these available or supported by Dish ?

the 1000.5 is a custom dish that uses a 1000 plus pan and 1000.4 hardware.
