Two million passwords exposed thanks to botnet and malware infected PCs

Over two million passwords for Yahoo!, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others have been posted to the web after a botnet has infected thousands of machines and used a keylogger to obtain passwords.

So I could change my Twitter (unused) and LinkedIn PWs, but have no way of determining if my PC is infected and my efforts are for naught?

Demographically, the Netherlands seemed to be targeted the most, as 97 percent of the stolen credentials belong to users in the country -- followed by Thailand, Germany, Singapore, and Indonesia. The United States accounted for less than 2,000 stolen credentials.
