I have a dishnetwork system with three receivers in three different rooms. I want to install a 32 LCD on my kitchen wall. I don't have space to put a receiver there. If I run a wire through the receiver from my family room to this TV, can I use some sort of remote which will control that receiver from the kitchen? I mdon't mind if it changes channels in both tvs, since one of them will be on at a time.
BTW my receiver is DP311.
I would appreciate the help.

Yes you can mirror image your family room TV to the proposed one in the kitchen.

Without changing out your single tuner receiver to a dual-tuner, it sounds like your best bet is to get a UHF kit for those two televisions. It essentially allows a UHF remote to work a IR controlled receiver. Contact Claude at the Dishstore.Net (one of the sponsors for this site) for details.
