Awesome! Now that Ubisoft has canned this idea I don't know of any major publishers that are still using it. I think the backlash Microsoft got for trying to restrict used games might have been the best thing possible for used/rented games. That hatred Microsoft was getting was enough for EA to finally realize it was a bad idea and now that Ubisoft was the only one left they really had no choice either.
 
I suppose now I have a reason to rent this game. I'll add it to my queue, since I don't see much else interesting coming down the pike. I can live without BF and COD for a while. I know though that when I DO get back into those games, I'll likely binge on it like I am with open world games now.
