Unable to locate an FTA

Greetings to all,
I am at my wits end. I have a 36" DISH with a quad lnb. In the circular connection, I get 61.5, 82, and 91 (signal and quality excellent, no programs on the latter 2). On the linear connection, I get nothing. I have been waving that dish for hours, and all I get are sore arms and shoulders. I have a motor. I thought if I got the circ. dishes the linear would come in automatically. Any hope?

Just a guess, but did you enter the correct LNB info for Linear Sats?
Below is example if you are using a DiSEqC Switch to go from the "L" port to the "C" port on the LNB.
Linear Sats(non Echo / Nimiq):
LNB: Standard or Single
LNB Freq / L.O.: 10750
DiSEqC: Port 1
Motor: USALS

Circular Sats(most Echo, all Nimiq):
LNB: Standard or Single
LNB Freq / L.O.: 11250
DiSEqC: Port 2
Motor: USALS

You can setup to the Circular Sats, just remember that they are very powerful, and easy to hit, compared to regular Linear FTA Sats. You may have to "tweak" your setup for Linear Sats.

circular sats have more play than linear so you really need to be bang on with the linear side.
