Unable to upload phot to use with signature

I'm a new member. I tried to upload a 100 x 118 pixel, 8k jpeg image to use with my signature and got a message that said "unable to upload image," (or something like that. I didn't write down the error message.)

It's no big deal, but I wonder why your forum wouldn't accept it.

No it was a JPEG file. The only file format, other than Flash, that can do animation is GIF.

Is that the problem? Do I need to convert the JPEG file to a GIF file? If so, that solves the problem. Thanks.
 
I'm glad we can't. I can't stand the forums with the 500 pictures people put in their sigs. I usually start going through those forums and adblock all the regular poster's pictures.
