Can i have a 5x8 multiswitch with a universal lnb? I want to use my universal lnb of the multiswitch that reguires 22 tone and let it pass it through to the lnb. Is that possible.

no it wont work. because the 22k is injected to the UNiversal to turn on the high band
If you hook a universal to a 22k switch the 22k switch (externally) will control it and all you'll get is the low band
