With DirectTV and Disney in a dispute this week, does anyone know which contracts might be coming up for DISH this fall that could get tied up in a dispute?

I am going to focus on might - I have no knowledge but we are closing in on when the FOX contract has come up for renewal in the past - the one that is sports heavy. The contract for FOX, FS1, FS2, Big10 Network, Fox Soccer, and Fox Deportes last expired in Sept 2019 and was renewed in October 2019. Sports heavy contracts that cover football usually expire late summer or early fall as there is a lot of content at that point.

what about fox news
I don't know if you are asking about my post, but previously Fox News and Fox Business were on separate contract cycles compared to the Fox Sports channels. The 2019 dispute did not include Fox News and Fox Business, so it would imply that those are still on a separate deal.

First, I know this is a year-old thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

With all the crap Dish has gotten through the years, I find it a little funny and rewarding that Fox and Youtube TV are in a dispute, and it is possible that they will not have the Fox family of college football on this weekend Sure, they very likely will reach an agreement beforehand, but then again, they may not.

I am in a Big Ten country and have certainly heard a lot of chatter about those cord-cutters who switched to YouTube TV for their sports coverage, as they may not be able to watch the Ohio State/Texas game on Saturday.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Dish hasn't really had any big disputes that I can remember in a few years now.

I would love to see when they renew the ESPN deal that we get access to ESPN Unlimited like DIRECTV folks do, as I don't feel like paying an additional $29.99 a month just to watch the WWE Pay Per Views.:D (But thats just me)

Yeah - the last big one that I can recall was Oct, 1, 2022 when they lost the ESPN and Disney channels for a couple of days, and after missing one weekend of football, they came back quickly. I think it wasn't even 3 days and they were back. Part of me wishes it was a 3 year contract so it would come up for renewal this fall and a new deal would bring around ESPN Unlimited...but then at the same time, the next time the contract comes for renewal, it could be a long drawn out removal of the ESPN channels...
