confused be 2nd wally

ive been fighting this second wally seems like when i take it to where i want to put it doesn't work right but when i take it somewhere else with the same cable it works is it possible the tube type tv is causeing some type of inference

Same here. Fighting for >5 years. I keep the screws off the top of the TailGater and remove the coveer to make sure the green light blinks on the circuit board. I watch to make sure the receiver swings both ways and stops at 119, then 110. Usually works. Where I had issues is that I tighten the RG-58 too tight and it shorts out. Now I back of 1/4-1/2 turn on all connectors. I've had much better luck the past 4 or 5 outings. Hope this helps
