I got the new software update yesterday morning at 1:35AM and now my Logitech remote does not work with the H3 receiver. Anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?
Logitech discontinued software May of 2025. When it was active you had to have their software on your PC sign to make changes. No such auto updating ever existed.I got the new software update yesterday morning at 1:35AM and now my Logitech remote does not work with the H3 receiver. Anyone else having this problem and how do I fix it?
Yes I am taking about the H3 software update. No I believe he's talking about a Hopper software update.
I don't have my Harmony's anymore and have been mainly using the 60.0 remotes
I have version H711. I checked for the infrared reception and it was on already. I also have the H665 remote. I also have been going through the MyHarmony remote settings, but I have had no luck yet. What is the software version you updated to, H711? I have H711 and a Logitech Harmony, H665, and it is working just fine with my Hopper 3. I do not have Hopper+. Ensure that you have IR enabled on your Hopper. With your Dish remote press Home twice, go to Remote Control, go down to Infrared Reception and turn it on. If you have a Hopper+ some of your buttons on your Harmony remote will not work at all.
Try a plug pull on your Hopper 3 for a minute and then plug it back in and let it reboot.I have version H711. I checked for the infrared reception and it was on already. I also have the H665 remote. I also have been going through the MyHarmony remote settings, but I have had no luck yet.
The Logitech remote worked some and then not again this morning. I did the hard reboot and it is working right now.Try a plug pull on your Hopper 3 for a minute and then plug it back in and let it reboot.
That tells me it is an issue with your Harmony. You might try to reload the remote with the Harmony app. That still works well.I have found out that if I push the help button on the Harmony 665 remote and go through the questions it works for a while.
How would I go about doing this and how do I find what software version I have? That tells me it is an issue with your Harmony. You might try to reload the remote with the Harmony app. That still works well.
How did you program your Harmony to begin with? You loaded all the devices, etc, on a computer Harmony app and then when you had it all loaded you transfered that programming to you Harmony remote. Simply pull up that Harmony app on your computer and login and tell it to load the programing to the remote. It will ask you to plug your Harmony remote into a USB port on your computer and it will reprogram the remote. It will be a duplicate of what you already have unless you changed some programming. Hopper software version doesn't matter. How would I go about doing this and how do I find what software version I have?
He"ll probably need to make a tiny change somewhere (like order of device turn on) to trigger the sync button. How did you program your Harmony to begin with?
