This Diagnostics screen layout is different. Seems to be the only user-facing thing that I have noticed.

I upgraded my two Hopper 3 receivers to H706 and my two Joey 3 clients to J906.
The diagnostics screen on the Joey 3 has much more information.
When I do a Check Status on my two Hopper 3 receivers I have an Error: Port 3 Generic Warning

Everything seems to be working fine so I am not sure what the error means. All of my external hard drives and the OTA tuner are all working. Does anyone know what that error entails?

I checked on this error. It means (for me anyway) that 77 is no longer in use although at one time it was on my receiver. The previous versions ignored the error because it was no longer in use. The current version shows it . ????

That makes sense. Satellite 129 is still connected to my DPH 42 switch but it is no longer used. Thank you for the explanation.

It might disappear if you do a check switch.

Parents have a Hopper 3 and Wireless Joey. Wireless Joey says J703, and I assume the Hopper 3 has H706 since I rebooted the two just yesterday.

I have no idea if they ever get restarted otherwise, other than power outages (even overnight.) But, these seem faster in the guide, changing channels, and fast forward/rewind than I ever remember them being, maybe not quite as quick as when they used to use the Hopper 3 directly but reasonably close. Instead of pushing these buttons and getting some response like seconds later, they actually seem reasonably responsive now. The "Home" and DVR screens are still heinously slow to come up, but also seem at least a bit faster than before.

I see the new software, got rid of "rating" and few other tabs in programing info?

I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that FAST or what ever dish want to call them are redirects of there "sling" free channels and yet the programing info (description) is same is what is on "sling" but they cant get Season and episode info right. most time it some random "episode #" but for most part there original air date is right, well most the time.
