Upgrade to 722 Scheduled for 8/22

Dish provided my HDMI cables for free. Well, they aren't actually complete HDMI cables. They are HDMI to DVI cables with an included DVI to HDMI adapter to convert it back to an HDMI connection. My TV doesn't have HDMI ports so I can't confirm whether or not it remains true HDMI through the HDMI to DVI to HDMI cable. I have my doubts that it would work since DVI doesn't carry sound but I could be wrong. My installer didn't know if it would work either but he said it should. Does anyone here have any input to this?

Using same type of cable ( provided by installer when pointed my TV have HDMI inputs) HDMI->DVI->adapter->HDMI I'm getting sound on TV OK.

Smith, why would they use 03KG to name this one? I saw it this morning but I thought it was beta, gamma or whatever but didn't think much of it.

May be I misinterpret the logic, but seems to me the version targetting all version exclude 03KG with proper IDs for sure for all R00 numbers.

Perhaps Dish follow DTV and released CE [Cutting Egde] version.
