The existing cable that you have will work fine. Just make sure its RG6 and not RG59. The best way to make sure is hook it up to that cable. If its RG59 it will work if its not to long of a run. Some people say don't ever use RG59 but I've seen it work a million times with short runs.

This is between 20 to 30 feet - would you consider this a short run? The coax carries the OTA signal just fine so hopefully it will handle the dish signal, too.
