I wonder if it had anything to do with the tables being too big for the ViP211 (per Smith's comments in the previous uplink) so they backed off once the support calls spiked.

You wouldn't think that from reading other threads.... People are commenting about what we're going to get based on these reports. Hate to be a skeptic, but we've all seen channels uplinked before and nothing come of them. I certainly want or would like more HD channels, but I'll believe it when I see them (on my TV).

True. We could get more , less or nothing what is uplinked. They have to have an "A" to make a difference.

All those UP channels were virtual channels for the upcoming spotbeams on 129. We already know they are going to add a bunch of local HD channels. Nothing new.
