John, I went to go tune to 9850s this morning with a sub reciver (AEP + SUPERS+ SPORTS + htdv and voom + distant nets) and that perticular channel is not there.. did it go hidden again?

Works on the 721 and 301 here. Both have 4-sat which includes 121w. Watching it now.

I know it IS coming, the question is when.

And that is a big wide question. Wonder what will happen first, ESPN2-HD on dish or the mission to mars :D

nothing yet.. I was also just looking.... it looks like dish has room for a 720P source on tp 12311 with the hdnets.. (they currently have 3 1080 I sources on Tp 12399 with tnt, hbo, and PPV/NFL/NBA/HDEV1 all sharing the same channel. They have 2 1080 I sources and 1 720P source on Tp 12457 with Discovery, Espn 720P, and Showtime. That leaves hd net and hdnet movies (2 1080I sources) on one tp with room for 1 more 720P source without over compressing and killing things. It sounds like a plan.. so what im saying is espn2 could easly fit there with no problems, Unless Mark Cuban likes having his own dedicated transponder at dish.. If all is good all charlie needs to do now is get er done!!

Doesn't he supposedly have some sort of minimum bandwidth clause in his contracts, though?

They have plenty of other places to put it rather than messing with the HDNets, doing that I would not like!

Put it on TP19, very simple...

Not all of them but most of them.

322,311,522,625 are some of the SD receievers that have 8psk tuning...

The HDNets will have their own transponder, Cuban won't like them taking away bandwidth from his babies. I have a feeling we wont be seeing espn2-hd or U-HD until the Rainbow-1 deal is done with. Sucks but oh well.

Thursday is just about over and no ESPN 2 HD linked or activated yet. If you're a 921 owner like me, you've grown accustomed to waiting and hearing delays. Maybe it'll come in time before the World Series starts on the network TV's.
