CSTV became avable to subs (as noted before)
John H reports some more Significantly Viewed locals became available, WLII became available,WNDS changed callsign to WZMY.

Other than that as comfirmed by John H @ DBS TALK no new channels uplinked at all.. will check again this evening. Expect a slow week untill next week.

WRTV and WTHR Indianapolis are now available to parts of the Terre Haute TV Market

KTBS and KMSS Shreveport are now available to parts of the Tyler TV Market

KSAT and KENS San Antonio are now available to parts of the Austin TV Market

CSTV is listed as available in AT180 and Everything packs
NFL Network is listed as available in AT120, AT180 and Everything packs.

This is great to see Dish Network doing. I have been working on trying to get them to do this for awhile now. They soon also will be posting software release notes to the Tech Portal instead of sending them to folks at the forums, which to me is a good move, shows they are not playing favorites.

There are 55 more channels on Echostar 5 that became available today. This batch looks like Second Dish locals.

A couple of TST channels(Probably HD) were added, but not available.

Maybe 7 or so other locals already there became available.

I just checked out those new uplinks and im noticing Transport Stream ID: 413 (0x019d) 129.0W 12.399 R 21500 7/8 Turbo QPSK

Never seen Turbo QPSK before.. Normaly its 8PSK or Qpsk even the mpg 4 test chls are in 8psk. Im trying to get the story on this one right now..

Ok just got confirmed on this, Actually Dish did use Turbo-Coded QPSK when they originally uplinked the HD on AMC-2. It buys some bandwidth over standard QPSK and does not require the satellite power supplies to be overloaded like 8PSK might do.

Well, Dish changing modulation/EC for the transponder, if you'll take a look in my zip from Aug 24, here http://www.dbstalk.com/showpost.php?p=438862&postcount=187 .

I did attempt to tune to the transponder 13, it is using Turbo QPSK, but switched FEC to 1/4 or 1/2 or 3/4 did not show any activity, just locked to the transponder.
