USB 3 port problems with USB drives

I have read several posts from people having problems with USB drives disconnecting from the USB 3 port. They claimed the drive worked fine on the USB 2 ports but quit after several minutes when using the USB 3 port. How many are having this problem? For those having the problem, what model Drive are you using? This is important for me because I have 3 drives connected to my 2 hopper with sling receivers.

I have my EHD and OTA module plugged in but I don't know which ports they are hooked up to. I wasn't able to see when I plugged them in. Both of mine work great.

I was having the problam and i am using a wd hard drive. Seems like better now. The biggest problem was transfering files from ext drive to h3. It was disconnecting randomly. Or not seeing the drive when i plug to usb 3.0. No more problems though other then if you want to transfer a recording from hopper to ext drive you have to wait to drive to come online or hopper freezes.
