Do I need an adapter to use a Dish 500 for just one orbital or is there a particular skew setting?
Do you have any idea what you are talking about? The OP is looking to aim at a single satellite location, a TWIN is for 2 satellite locations and at 90 degree skew couldn't see 2 locations in most of the country. A single or DUAL LNB is used for one satellite location. Buying a TWIN and an "I" adapter from DISHSTORE makes even less sense because the "I" adapter dosen't have a mounting location for a twin. This is all assuming that you have a dp twin lnb. If you don't have a twin, only a plus, just set the skew to zero, and the plus will only see one bird at a time. Then go buy a twin lnb and an i adapter from dishstore.net.
