use this analog meter w/SWMline3 dish?

just wondering if these can be used to self-install a "SWM"line3 dish, or if they don't work with the SWM.

I've never tried it, but as long as the B- Band conv. is between the Meter and LNB it should.

Yes, it will work, but you will also need a part called ASL-1, or a single power pass 2 way splitter, along with the power supply for the SWM LNB. The ASL-1 looks like a 4 way splitter. It allows you to use a standard analog meter to peak 101 (and 119 for a SWM5 LNB). There is an input for the power supply on the ASL-1. If you are using the single power pass splitter, the power supply is connected to the power passing port. Do not connect receiver itself to SWM LNB until aimed.

The B-band converter is not used with SWM technology.
