Using Diplexer to get signal to additional TV

I'm looking for info on using a diplexer to send my satellite signal to the other rooms in my house. I currently use an A/V sender but have heard that I can use a diplexer to accomplish the same thing and then just use the remote extender. How would I set this up? Am I missing something?

I have no need to watch 2 different channels at once, so I don't need the seperate receiver or extra service from DTV. I just want to send the same signal to different rooms. Can anyone help with how I set this system up. Thanks.

what you need is a regular 2 way splitter
Hook the splitter to the RF out of the receiver and run it to both TV's

Heck, if you're using Svideo or A/V plugs to your main TV, all you need is a coax from the rf out of the receiver to the other TV

The guys who installed my system and mentioned a diplexer to me said there was a way to use it that you can get the signal back to the main house junction box and send the singal to different rooms without running extra wires. All my rooms are already wired with cable, I just need to get that signal there....and don't really want to run more cable. They said something about a diplexer at the reciever and at the main junction box where everything comes into the house. Does this make sense.

The idea above is good, but I think it requires me to run some cable which I'd like to avoid.

That diagram is great and exactly what I need I think. So if I wanted that exact system without the RF antenna, I need two dipexers right? What is the second one for...the one at the TV(Room 1). Also, what if I wanted to add a 3rd TV....do I need another diplexer? Thanks alot. This is good stuff!

One diplexer to combine the signals then the other one to split them back up, I think there are double diplexers available, or a 2 or 3 way splitter at the junction box may work for other TV's.
