Hopefully I can say this in a way that makes sense: My Tivo is hooked up in a second room where the Dish TV2 is being run (the Dish receiver is in a different room). Obviously the TIVO can't change the channel because the DISH receiver is in a seperate room.
I could have sworn there was a device made by one of the companies that solved this problem (some type of box that the TIVO IR's sat in front of that changed the DISH channels through UHF signal??).
Ok, hopefully I didn't sound too stupid. But if there's not a device, is there a workaround for the issue (tried scheduling the recordings through both devices, but DISH receiver TV2 goes on standby regardless of me telling it not to.. so it will record the program on the DISH receiver, but won't turn the signal on so that the TIVO can record it also).
