Gang,

Couldn't find anything (obvious) on Dish's site. I have two vacation rental homes I am setting up and would like to (possibly) have Dish service up and running for guests. I'm thinking Top 100, locals, and HBO.

Does Dish have any multi-home plans (or do I just need one new account per home). Also, I'd like to get 4 receivers per house (and atleast 2 dvr's). Any good packages (or should I consider DHP for something like this?)

Any suggestions, comments appreciated.

Charlie himself said a while back that he had no problem with this but in the User Agreement it says that all receivers are supposed to be at the same house, so it is one of those grey areas. They really object two people being at two places at the same time watching off of one account. Just do not connect phone lines up to the receiver that is at another location.

These are rental homes (a business) not my personal vacation home. Even if that where an option, I'm talking about 4 receivers per house. I already have 5 on my account (and the limit is 6). I'm just trying to figure out the best way (most cost effective) to setup these otehr two homes (and if I need some sort of business account or just to set them up as two additional private residences).

I think what you want is FTG (free to guest)

This would technically be a FTG situation, but that is the absolute most expensive route to go upfront. Check out the cost of the equipment if it is commercially invoiced. Keep in mind that this is the cost before adding any shipping or other charges, and that free installation or free equipment promotions are NOT offered for Free-To-Guest accounts and must be paid for by the customer:

Also, the minimum programming offered in an L-Band (non-headend) setup is AT60 at $8 PER RECEIVER. You then add other channels on and are charged per receivers for those as well.

Here is the FTG Bulk Rate Card - Skip over the packages lower than AT60 as this setup wouldn't qualify for those. http://rweb.echostar.com/commercial/forms/ftgBulkRateCard.pdf (if you can't access that file, let me know.)
