VIDEO - Hopper GO

Mention has been made that the Hopper Go has a hard drive. Is it really a hard drive or some manner of solid state storage (I'm thinking flash memory)?

My question is can you keep the Hopper go device plugged into the wall socket and keep it charged so you can use it for longer than 4 hours of battery life? I have an 8 hour job and spend most of it watching m I-pad to fill out my boring security job and this would be great if you could. Also can you use this device without upgrading to the hopper 3 ?
Yes to both.

With folks using these things in airplanes and hotel/motel rooms I wonder how much of a problem it will be with it creating its own WiFi hotspot and interfering with the those being provided for other users?

I don't imagine that there would be a lot of competition in either scenario as compared with a series of office suites or an apartment complex. Probably not a hugely powerful radio.
