Just had my 612 installed sunday. I have hooked it to my DSL. I looked online this morning and I still see dish charging me a 5 fee. Do I need to call them up and tell them that it is connected via ethernet port? Thanks!!!!!

Just to be safe I would call and verify. During the daytime you should be fine when calling in. I generally find you'll get an American call center; Tulsa and Pittsburgh being my favorites

I don't think the 612 is charged the second tuner fee as it only outputs from one tuner at a time. That $5 may be a different fee.

The $4.98 DVR fee perhaps?

That would apply if the OP does not have DVR Advantage.
