Can I swap the output of a DPP Separator so Sat 2 is going to Tuner1 (Sat1) of the VIP622, to verify that Tuner1 (Sat1) is working.

When the update re-boots happens, Tuner1 (Sat1) can’t find the satellites while Tuner2 (Sat2) does (also verified zero signal strength at the ‘point dish’ menu for Tuner1 and normal signal strength for Tuner2).

Multiple Re-boots will bring back Tuner1 and the VIP622 will work fine for 3 or 4 days or till next update re-boot and Tuner1 can’t find satellites. DP44 switch and the other VIP622 works fine

Is it safe to hot-swap the DPP Separator outputs while everything is powered up

Thanks

Sure, you can swap them. Just unscrew and turn it over. Check the connectors for stray braid hairs when you do it. It can be on when you do it, also.

Each is a satellite signal. The tuner does not know he difference---because there is none.
