this should be a simple question.

I have a ViP622 receiver. It, and the TV, is located in an entertainment center. The shelves for aux equipment is located behind a cherry wood door. That is the only place I can put the receiver. However when the door is closed the receiver will not respond to the remote. I bought a 24" coax cable and extended the antenna to a location next to the TV so that it is in the open. The receiver still will not respond to the remote when the door is closed. I must leave the door open.

Any ideas?

You need to use a UHF-Pro remote (i.e. the TV2 remote) if there's not line-of-sight for the IR remote to the front of the box.
